A brand is the identity of a specific product, service, business, or in our case band. A brand can take many forms, including a name, sign, symbol, color combination or slogan. The word brand has continued to evolve to encompass identity - it affects the personality of a product, company or service. Our goal in standardizing the band's brand is to consistently present our organization and what it stands for to people outside of the organization. In addition, we wish to create unity among our stakeholders including students, parents, and community members.

What a Logo Is and Does
A logo is an icon, symbol, or brand mark. It is only by association with an organization, a service, or a product that a logo takes on meaning. It derives its meaning and usefulness from the quality of that which it symbolizes.The role of the logo is to point, to designate—in as simple a manner as possible.
